Master Red Dot Usage for Law Enforcement

Service Description
RDS Operator This course is built to make you effective with a red dot pistol — not just familiar with one. Running an RDS isn’t just throwing an optic on your gun. If you don’t understand how to use it, it’ll slow you down and expose every flaw in your fundamentals. This course is about fixing that. You’ll learn how to consistently find the dot, track it through recoil, and use it to shoot faster and more accurately — under real pressure, not just standing still on a flat range. What We’re Working On Understanding the Dot Proper zero and confirmation Dot brightness and setup What the dot is telling you vs what you think it’s telling you If your setup is wrong, everything else falls apart. Dot Acquisition If you’re hunting for the dot, you’re already behind. We build: A consistent presentation that brings the dot to your eye Indexing off your body, not fishing with the gun Immediate confirmation without hesitation Recoil Control & Tracking The dot doesn’t lie. You’ll learn to: Track the dot through recoil See your shots instead of guessing Make faster, more accurate follow-up shots This is where most people realize what they’ve been doing wrong. Speed vs Accountability Red dots let you go faster — if you know how to use them. We work: Acceptable sight pictures at speed Target transitions Calling your shots No guessing. You either saw it or you didn’t. Working Under Time You’ll be pushed with structured drills that force you to perform: Faster presentations Faster splits Faster decisions All while maintaining control and accountability. Problem Solving Dots fail. Batteries die. Conditions change. We cover: Occluded optic shooting Shooting through less-than-perfect conditions Maintaining performance when things aren’t ideal What This Course Is About This is not a “how to turn your dot on” class. This is about: Building a reliable draw that finds the dot every time Using the dot to actually improve performance Holding yourself accountable for every shot You’re here to leave better — not just more comfortable.
