**TacticalPatrol Shield Operator** The Tactical Patrol Shield Operator Course provides officers with the knowledge and practical skills needed to effectively deploy and utilize ballistic shields during critical incidents. Through hands-on drills, movement exercises, scenario-based training, live-fire, and force-on-force applications, officers will develop confidence in employing a shield during a variety of patrol responses while understanding its capabilities and limitations. **Course Content Overview:** • Shield capabilities and limitations • Shield deployment techniques • Movement and positioning principles • Patrol response applications • Communication and coordination concepts • Live-fire shield employment • Force-on-force shield applications This class is eligible for TCOLE course #3823 WHAT YOU'LL NEED: • Pistol with 3 magazines • 400 rounds pistol ammunition • Rifle with 3 magazines (optional) • Patrol-based equipment • Eye and hearing protection • Agency-issued ballistic shield (if available) • Clothing appropriate for the weather • Food and water Train today.
